Biggest Loser Two Night Premiere

Now that Christmas is over, TV is back and so are the midseason premieres! This week Biggest Loser started and guess what?! Jillian's back! I have been watching this show forever (clearly not for the tips), and Jillian Michaels is one of my favorite things about this show. I am sure that this season is going to be fantastic.

First, I'm going to continue to gush about Jillian. I love that she is a tough bitch. Sometimes, I can't believe the things that come out of her mouth. In fact in the first workout this season she kicked THREE people out of the gym. Of course, Bob Harper *swoon* is over there making little wisecracks. Bob and Jillian have a great friendship, and I'm glad that not only are we reunited with Jillian, but also Bob and Jillian are in the gym together.

The new season is also featuring kids. Childhood obesity is a growing problem in the US. This season three kids are being challenged to lose weight. They are being helped by all three trainers. Now they won't live on campus or face elimination. This is more of a program to get them healthy. I think it's great! Hearing their stories about being in school and getting picked on gives me flashbacks. I'm rooting for all of them to do well. Oh and that Bingo kid has some great one liners!

Now who am I rooting for so far? After watching the first two episodes I already have some early favorites. I'm obviously pulling for Jackson my fellow gay. He's got some great reactions. Cate is fantastic. She made a point to go pep talk someone from a different team after a hard day at the gym. I'm also rooting for Pam. She's older, but she pushes through. I'm a little disappointed that in night one TC went home. He had a great reason to lose weight (if you don't know what I'm talking about, he broke his car seat and it collapsed on his child causing serious damage so he made a promise to his son to lose weight). I can't believe that they made him go home even after Nikki walked out.

The second night was a little rough at the weigh in, but when is it not? Red team (Dolvett) is catching me as the team to beat, but I'm sure Bob would disagree. I always feel bad for people when the pull in zeroes, but someone always does in week two. I almost feel like they need to give immunity to everyone during week two, it's just a bad week...ALWAYS!

I think this will be an inspiring season to watch, but really when isn't it? Are you tuning in? Who are you rooting for?

Happy Trails,

PS Alison Sweeney is perfection, am I right?!

  1. Alison last season I watched was so mean! I recall her yelling several times. With that being said she is gorgeous and her outfits are always so cute! I love Bob and Jillian as a team as well. But Bob's glasses...I'm still thinking about lol
